Cake:
2 eggs
1 cup cooking oil
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup hot water
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
½ cup cocoa
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda

Frosting:

1 cup sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 square baking chocolate
¼ tsp. salt
1 cup boiling water
3 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Cake:
Mix the first 5 ingredients. Add dry ingredients.
Pour into un-greased 9 x 13” pan.
Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.

Frosting:
Mix the first 5 ingredients and boil until thick, stirring constantly.
Mix in the butter and vanilla, and then frost the cake while the frosting is hot.
You can make 1.5 times the recipe for extra thick frosting.
