1 stick of butter
1 cup of sugar
¾ cup of flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 pinch of salt
¾ cup of milk
1 quart of fresh fruit or 2 cans of fruit

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place butter in a 9 x 12 glass baking dish. While oven is preheating put dish in the oven to melt butter. In a large bowl, whisk sugar, flour, milk, baking powder and salt. When butter is melted, pour mixture evenly into baking dish. Do not stir with the butter. Sprinkle fruit on top. Do not stir with the mixture. Bake until brown around edges and bubbly. Approximately 45 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream or Cool Whip.
