2 c. honey warmed
1 c. sugar
6 oz citron (grated)
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 c. nutmeats (chopped fine)
1 tsp. soda (dissolved in a little hot water)

Add sifted flour a little at a time until dough is stiff enough to roll on a well floured board. Cut with cookie cutter and baked on lightly greased pan in 325º - 350º until light brown
