1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 clove garlic, crushed or minced
1 c. dry bread crumbs
1/4 c. grated parmesan cheese
1/4 c. finely chopped almonds (opt)
2 Tbs. minced parsley
1/4 tsp. ground thyme or poultry seasoning
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 1/2 - 3 lb. frying chicken, cut up

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400º. In a 13 x 9 inch pan melt butter with garlic. In bowl combine bread crumbs, cheese, almonds, parsley, salt, thyme and pepper. Mix well. Dip chicken pieces into garlic butter and then crumb mixture. Place skin side up in pan. Bake uncovered, about 1 hour. Baste occasionally with pan drippings.
