Ingredients:
1/2 c sifted flour
1/2 t baking powder
1/2 t salt
1/2 c chopped nuts
1 c sliced or chopped dates
1 c brown sugar
2 egg yolks (well beaten)
3 egg whites (beaten stiff)
whip cream

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients, mix in dates and nuts. Stir sugar in egg yolks, add all together. Fold in egg whites. Pour into 8" round cake pan. Bake in lower part of oven at 350º for 30 minutes, until firm in middle (check with tooth pick). If not done center will fall. I leave in the oven with oven off and door open for a little bit. Hard to get out of pan! When cool cut in half, spread center with whip cream and bananas. Cover all with whip cream.

Personal Notes:
Worry is like a rocking chair. It gives you something to do, but doesn't get you anywhere.
