1/2 cup Shortening
1/2 cup Butter
1 cup Sugar
3 Eggs
3 1/2 cups Flour
2 tsp Baking powder
1/2 tsp Salt

For icing:
2 cups Powdered sugar
2 TB White syrup
1 tsp Vanilla
warm water

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients. Chill for 3 hours. Roll out
dough on flour and cut out shapes. Bake on greased
cookie sheet at 350° until cookies are golden brown
on bottom.

For icing- combine sugar, syrup, and vanilla. Add warm
water until consistancy is like glue
