1 c. warm water
1/4 c. sugar
3/4 TSR. salt

1/2 c. confection sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Bake at 375º

Dissolve yeast in warm water in a large bowl. Add sugar, salt, egg and shortening.; mix until smooth. Add 3-3 1/2 c. flour, gradually mixing well after each addition. Knead on surface; sprinkle with remaining 1/2 c. of flour until smooth and elastic. Place in greased bowl, turning to coat surface, cover and let rise to double. Punch dough down. Roll into 7x12 inch rectangle on floured surface. Brush with butter, sprinkle with mixture of remaining 1/4 c. sugar and cinnamon.

Roll as you would do for a jelly roll, seal ends and cut into 1 inch slices. Place in baking dish, cover & let rise to double. Bake for 12-15 mins. Blend confection sugar and milk in a small bowl. Drizzle over warm rolls.

Tina's addition: In a small sauce pan on low heat combine, 1 c. sugar, 1/2 cup of butter and 1 c. of orange juice. Once the mixture turns into a syrup take off the heat & add 1 tsp. of vanilla. Pour into the baking dish before putting the rolls in the pan. If you would like a thicker syrup add less orange juice and if you like less of the orange flavor add less orange juice. (keep in mind that the different brands of orange juice will change the flavor-find what you like)
