2 Cups Flour
1 1/2 Tsp. Baking Powder
1/4 Tsp. Salt
3/4 Cups Sugar
1 Stick Unsalted Butter - Room Temperature
1 Tsp. Anise Seeds
2 Eggs
1 Cup Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
1/2 Cup Chopped Almonds (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Whisk together flour, baking powder and salt.

Mix sugar, butter (room temperature) anise seeds, eggs (one at a time).

Add chocolate chips and optional chopped almonds.

Roll into ball and then create 12 inch logs.
Two inches wide.

Cook at 350º for 20 minutes - cut and let set for 1 hour. Bake again at 225º for 15 minutes.
