8 hotdogs (2 per person), cooked
Mashed potatoes (seasoned with butter, milk, salt, and pepper to taste)
1/2 to 1 cup Cheddar cheese, grated

Directions:
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 350º.

Cut cooked hot dogs in half, lengthwise, without cutting all the way through. Stuff with mashed potatoes, then top with grated cheese. Put in oven until heated through and cheese melts.

A kid-favorite! Three generations of Powells -- children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, have clapped hands over these! These were often a Saturday lunch, left out to put in the oven as needed. They were so easy because the "needy" didn't feel "needy" at the same time! A salad was usually in the refrigerator to accompany.
