2 c. Quaker quick oats
2 c. sugar
1 T. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. very hot margarine
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix oats, sugar, flour and salt together. Add hot melted margarine and stir until sugar is dissolved. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Drop by level teaspoonfuls 2 in. apart on foil covered cookie sheets. Bake at 325ºF for 8-11 minutes until golden brown. Cookies will spread. Watch carefully. Remove and cool completely before removing from foil. They will be very crisp and fragile and ever so good! Store in airtight container. Yield: 8-10 dozen cookies. *These are best made on a day with low humidity. We like them at Christmas time!
