3 Medium ripe Bananas, mashed
1/2 cup Milk
2 cups Flour
1 tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Salt
1/2 cup Butter or Margarine
1 cup Sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla
Optional: Walnuts, Chocolate Chips, Dried Cranberries

Mash bananas with milk. Set aside. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt. Set aside. Cream together butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add flour mixture alternating with banana mixture. Mix well. Add walnuts, chocolate chips, dried cranberries in any combination of these.

Grease and lightly flour loaf pan. Bake at 350º for 50 minutes to 1 hour. Test for doneness by inserting toothpick into center of loaf
