1 cup butter or margarine
2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cup sifted flour
1 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
3 cups quick rolled oats
1 pkg 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter & sugar. Mix in eggs & vanilla. Sift together flour, soda, salt; stir in rolled oats and add these dry ingredients to creamed mixture and set aside. Put in a saucepan over boiling water, chocolate chips, milk, 2 T. butter and 1/2 tsp salt. Stir until smooth. Add nuts. In a 15x10x1 pan, pour about 2/3 of oat mixture, cover with chocolate chip mixture and dot with remaining oat mixture and swirl the top.
Bake in 350º over for 25-30 minutes.
