2 apples
50 ml brown sugar
2 ml cinnamon
5 ml sugar
40 ml margarine
50 ml flour (sifted)
50 ml oatmeal

Directions:
Directions:
Grease casserole dish with shortening
Preheat oven to 375F
Combine brown sugar, flour, oats, margarine and cinnamon. In a medium bowl mix with a pastry blender until all flour disappears. Set aside.
Wash apples, peel and core and cut into thin slices
Put apples into casserole dish. Sprinkle with sugar if desired.
Spread topping on top of apples and bake for about 20 minutes or until apples are soft
