1/4 c. mayonnaise
3/4 t. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 t. salt
Dash of Tabasco sauce
Pinch each of thyme, oregano, dry mustard
1 egg, well beaten
1 lb. backfin crabmeat (picked for shells)
1 T. mayonnaise, separated
2-3 sprigs fresh parsley, minced

Preheat oven to 350º.
Mix mayonnaise, Worcestershire, salt, Tabasco, thyme, oregano, and dry mustard in a medium-sized bowl. Stir in egg. Gently mix in crabmeat and blend lightly but well. Coat an attractive 1-qt. casserole dish with 1/2 T. mayonnaise and fill with crab mixture. (I use individual seafood shells instead). Spread remaining 1/2 T. mayonnaise over top of crabmeat. Sprinkle casserole with parsley and paprika. Bake for 35-40 minutes (casserole) or 15-20 minutes for individual serving dishes or until piping hot and nicely browned.
