Directions:
In a 1 cup measuring cup, beat egg and vinegar together, add enough cold water to make 1 cup.
In a large bowl cut shortening into flour. Add egg mixture 1 Tbsp at a time, using just enough to bind mixture so that dough can be patted lightly to form a ball. Handle as little as possible. Roll dough from the center outwards. Roll to about 1/16" thick and place in pie plate.
Prick shell with a fork all over before baking.
Bake until golden brown about 10-12 minutes at 450ºF
