1 16 oz. Pkg. of Quaker Oatmeal Squares Cereal (8 Cups)
2 c. Pecan Pieces or Walnuts (you can combine both as well)
1/2 c. Light Corn Syrup (Karo)
1/2 c. Firmly Packed Brown Sugar
1/4 c. Margarine or Butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven at 250 degrees. Combine cereal and nuts in a 9 x 13 inch pan. Set aside.
Combine corn syrup,brown sugar, and margarine in 2-cup microwaveable bowl or measuring cup. Microwave on high for 1 1/2 min. Stir.
Microwave on High 1 minute more (or until boiling). Stir in vanilla and baking soda. Pour over cereal mixture. Stir to coat evenly.
Bake 1 hour stirring every 20 minutes. Spread on baking sheet to cool. Break into pieces.
