1/2 c. ketchup
2 Tbsp. molasses
1 Tbsp. white wine vinegar
1 Tbsp. mustard
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. tabasco sauce
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. pepper

Rub:
1 1/2 tsp. whole black peppercorns
1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 1/2 tsp. paprika
1 1/2 tsp. brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper

4 1 in. thick bone-in rib chops

Directions:
To make the sauce, in a small saucepan, whisk the sauce ingredients with 1/2 cup water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, the reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes. To make the rub, coarsely grind the peppercorns. Place in a small bowl and combine the remaining ingredients. Let the chops stand at room temperature for 30 minutes before grilling. Lightly brush both sides of chops with oil and season with rub, approximately 1 tsp. per side, pressing the spices into the meat. Grill over direct medium heat until barely pink, 8-10 minutes, turning every 2 minutes. Serve with sauce.
