1 large egg,
1/2 cup butter melted
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup mild molasses
1/2 cup cold milk
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 Tsp baking soda
1 Tbsp baking powder
1 1/2 Tsp ginger
1 1/2 Tsp cinnamon
3/4 Tsp salt
2 3/4 cups all purpose flour.

Directions:
Directions:
Using large bowl, beat egg until frothy. Add melted butter, sugar, molasses and milk. Mix.

In separate bowl combine 1 1/2 cups flour, baking soda, baking powder, ginger, salt and cinnamon. Stir well.

Add to first bowl. Mix.

Add remaining flour. Stir to combine.

Chill 1/2 hour.
Roll 1/2" thick on lightly floured surface.
Cut into 2" rounds.

Arrange on ungreased baking sheet allowing room for expansion (they don’t spread too much).

Bake at 400°F for 10 to 12 minutes.
