1 1/2 c. ground walnuts
1/2 lb. butter
5 Tbsp. sugar
2 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugar well. Add flour and vanilla and mix very well. Add ground walnuts and beat again. Shape dough into balls or crescents. Bake at 300ºF for about 1 to 1½ hours.
