3 lb pork roast
1 lb dry pinto beans (washed)
2 cloves garlic
2 T chili powder
1 tsp powdered cumin seed
1 can Ortega diced chilies
2 T salt

Directions:
Directions:
Place all in a crockpot. Cover with water and cook 8 hours or until meat falls from bone. Bone meat and return meat to pot. Uncover and cook 1 to 2 hours to thicken. (More cooking doesn't hurt!)

To serve: Place tortilla chips on plate. Spoon mixture over. Top with or serve in individual dishes: grated cheese, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, avocado or guacamole, sliced ripe olives, chopped green onion, etc. Top with salsa or taco sauce.
