At least 2 lb. beef brisket,
salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste,
2 large onions,
1/2 cup water,
1/2 cup ketchup

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle both sides of meat with salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste. Lay in pan with fat-side up. Slice onion and cover top of brisket with it. Combine 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup ketchup; pour over meat and cover with foil. Cook at 275º for at least 4 1/2 hours.
