Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Originally from Branden’s great-grandmother, Rosa Brantley.
History: Mama (Rosa Brantley) was known as “Mrs. B” within her circle of friends and church family and for making a delicious pecan pie. She baked and sold them a lot through the years to raise money for church projects.
Pecans were abundant at the Brantley house. All you had to do was take a short walk to the back of the property and pick them up. Property tax was paid each year with pecan sales. This recipe has been shared many times with family, friends and a lot of new brides. Mama used to say, “It’s so simple, anybody can make it.”
