3 lbs brisket-first cut
4 cloves garlic
2 tsps basil (or to taste, we like a lot!)
˝ cup fresh parsley, chopped
1 cup white wine
2 cups carrots, peeled and sliced
6 sm red potatoes, scrubbed and skin left on
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Rinse the brisket and stab several holes on both sides, packing with slivered garlic. Sprinkle with spices. Place carrots and potatoes at bottom of crock pot. Add wine, place brisket on top. Cook on low 10 hours or overnight.
Slice or shred and enjoy!
