1 lb. ground beef
2 to 3 garlic cloves, minced
2 6oz. cans of tomato paste
1 3/4 Cup water
1 4 oz. can mushrooms, sliced and drained
2 Bay leaves
¼ Teaspoon salt
¼ Teaspoon pepper
1 Teaspoon Italian seasoning
¼ Teaspoon oregano
6 Lasagna noodles, cooked (w/no salt)
1 12 oz small curd cottage cheese
1 8 oz. sour cream
2 1/2 Cups (10 oz) Mozzarella Cheese

Directions:

Cook beef and garlic in heavy skillet over medium heat until meat is browned, stirring to crumble meat, drain. Stir in tomato paste and next 7 ingredients. Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove bay leaves. Combine cottage cheese and sour cream and stir well. Layer half of noodles, sauce and cheese mixture into 13x 9 pan. Sprinkle with ¾ Cup mozzarella cheese. Repeat, cover and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Top w/remaining mozzarella cheese and bake for an additional 5 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
