2/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup white sugar
2/3 cup shortening
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1-1/2 cups flour
3/4 cup Quick oatmeal
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup butterscotch chips

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, sugars; add eggs; beat until smooth. Stir in salt, soda, baking powder and flour. Add oatmeal, vanilla, raisins and chips.

Drop by teaspoon on sprayed cookie sheet. Using a sprayed flat-bottom glass, dip in sugar; press glass on cookie dough to flatten slightly.
