1 pint fresh oysters
1 stick real butter
1 can evaporated milk
Salt, pepper and Old Bay Seasoning to taste

Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add oysters and heat until edges of the oysters begin to curl. Add entire can of evaporated milk. Heat until milk begins to boil. Turn off heat and cover. Add salt, pepper and Old Bay Seasoning to taste. Serve with saltine crackers.

Our family served this for Christmas and New Year family gatherings. It was as much a main dish as was the turkey or ham.
