2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 c. water
1 c. veg. oil
1 stick butter
4 T. cocoa
2 eggs
1 tsp. soda
dash salt

Icing
4 T. milk
4 T. cocoa
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 box powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
For cake:
Mix sugar and flour together and set aside.
Put into sauce pan water, oil, butter and cocoa.
Bring to boil and boil for 4 minutes.
Let cool, then add to flour and sugar. Blend well.
Add eggs, soda and salt.
Pour into 9 x 13 pan, that has been greased and floured.
Bake 350º for 45 minutes.

For Icing:
Bring to a boil milk, cocoa, and butter.
Add vanilla extract.
Add (sifted) powdered sugar and beat well.
Spread over cake evenly.
