"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 sticks butter, softened
1 c. creamy peanut butter
1 c. packed light brown sugar
1 c. sugar
2 lg. eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 pkg. (13-oz.) Snickers miniature candy bars
1 pkg. (11-oz.) Dove milk or dark chocolate candies

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the butter, peanut butter, and sugars using a mixer on a medium low speed until light and fluffy. Slowly add eggs and vanilla until thoroughly combined. Mix in flower, salt, and baking soda. Divide dough into 1 tablespoon pieces and flatten. Place a Snickers miniature in the center of each piece of dough. Slightly flatten each Snickers miniature and form the dough in a ball around each Snickers miniature. (Flattening the Snickers miniature will help the cookies to bake more evenly.) Place each cookie, seam side down, on a greased cookie sheet and slightly flatten. Bake at 350° for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown around the edges. (Cookies will continue to bake some after being removed from the oven.) Let cookies cool on baking rack or wax paper. Spruce up the cookies by drizzling melted Dove milk or dark chocolate over the top of each cookie. Put Dove chocolates in a Ziploc bag and melt in microwave for a little over a minute or until melted. The chocolate does not need to be hot but just melted. Cut the tip off of the bag and drizzle chocolate onto the top of each cookie. Allow the chocolate to dry before bagging or covering.

Personal Notes:
Be sure to use small square miniature candy bars, not the fun-size bars.
