1/2 cup margarine or butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2-3 ripe bananas
2 cup flour
1 1/4 Tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 Tsp. baking soda
1 Tsp. salt
1 cup chocolate chips or nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl, beat margarine or butter with sugar. Beat in eggs and bananas until well mixed. Spread dry ingredients over top. Spoon to stir, add nuts or chips.
Grease bottom and sides of pan with vegetable oil.
Add batter, let stand 20 minutes.

Bake at 300ºF for 70 minutes. Loaf is done when inserted toothpick comes out clean.
Make muffins by using cupcake liners and cutting cooking time in half.
