1 16 oz. can pumpkin
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
3 eggs
1 51/3 oz. can (2/3 cup) evaporated milk
1/2 cup milk
Pie Pastry in refrigeration section

Heat oven to 375º

In a large mixing bowl combine pumpkin, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and 1/2 tsp. salt. Add eggs; with a fork lightly beat eggs into pumpkin mixture. Add evaporated milk and milk; mix well. Lie pie pan with pastry and pour in mixture. Crimp edges with fork or pinch with finger tips. Cover edges of pie with foil. Bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for 25-30 minutes more until done. Insert toothpick in center and if it comes out clean, it's done. Cool. Cover and chill to store.

Depending on your oven, you made need to bake a little longer.
To give your crust a more home-made taste, sprinkle a little flour on it before pilling with mixture.
