6 pounds short ribs
1 ½ cups shoyu
¼ cup water
½ cup sugar
1” piece ginger, mashed
3 Tbsp brandy or bourbon
1 clove garlic, mashed
½ tsp Ajinomoto

Directions:
Directions:
In large pot cover ribs with water and boil 20 to 25 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool. Drain meat & dry with paper towels. Mix other ingredients and marinade 15 minutes. Grill ribs about 5” over hot coals for 15 minutes or until brown and crispy.
