2 ounces liquid smoke
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons Lea & Perrins steak sauce
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon sugar
3 tablespoons A1 steak sauce
2 cups apple cider vinegar

1 2-4 pound beef brisket

KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce or your favorite BBQ sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 7 ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Remove from heat and cool.
Put brisket in a baking pan and pour sauce over top.
Cover with foil and refrigerate for 24 hours.
Bake at 225º for 10-12 hours.
Remove brisket from marinade and chill. Discard marinade.
When cold, slice across the grain and layer in a baking dish.
Baste with BBQ sauce and reheat.

While this takes a Long time to make, this method of marinating and slow cooking causes the beef to fall apart because it's so tender.
