3 T. brown sugar
3 T. red wine vinegar
3 T. sherry or chicken broth
3 T. soy sauce
1 T. canola oil
1-1/2 t. crushed red pepper flakes
1-1/2 t. paprika
1-1/2 t. chili powder
1-1/2 t. Worcestershire sauce
3/4 t. each: seasoned salt, garlic powder & dried parsley flakes
1 (1-1/2 lbs) beef flank steak

In small bowl, combine 1st 12 ingrd.
Pour 1/3 cup marinade into large resealable plastic bag.
Add steak.
Seal bag & turn to coat.
Refridge 1-3 hrs.
Cover & fridge remaining marinade for basting.

Coat grill rack with cooking spray before starting grill.
Drain & discard marinade.
Grill steak uncovered, over medium heat for 6-8 min on each side or til meat reaches desired doneness, basting frequently with remaining marinade.
Thinly slice steak across grain.
