1 package dry yeast
4 cups of flour
1/2 cup warm water
1/8 tsp ginger
3 T sugar
1 tall can evaporated milk
1 tsp salt
2 T vegetable oil

Directions:
Directions:
Grease and flour 2 -1 pound coffee cans. (I use solid crisco) Put sugar and water in yeast. Let stand until it bubbles- Then add ginger, milk, salt, oil and flour. Divided batter evenly between cans. Preheat oven low to 170º. Turn oven off and put in the cans. Let rise until bread is close to the top of cans. Preheat oven to 350º leaving bread in, and bake for 45 minutes.
