1- box German Chocolate Cake Mix
1- small can Evaporated Milk (5oz.)
3/4 c. melted butter or margarine
1- bag Kraft Carmel (or 45 caramel)
6 oz. Chocolate Chips
1 c. walnuts (if desired)

Directions:
Preheat oven 350º. Mix cake mix, melted butter 1/2 c. of evaporated milk for 2 minutes on medium and 2 minutes on high. Spread 1/2 of batter on bottom of greased and floured 13x9x2 cake pan. Bake 6 minutes, cool 2 minutes. While batter is in oven, melt carmel along with remaining milk. After cake has cooled two minutes, pour melted carmel on top. Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts (if desired) on top. Drop remaining batter on top by teaspoons. Bake 20 minutes. Refrigerate 1/2 hour (to set carmels center).
