1/4 t. black pepper
2 T. all purpose flour
1 1/2 t. salt
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
3 dash Tobasco sauce
1 pint shucked oysters, undrained
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1 qt. scalded milk
1 small onion sautéed in butter

Directions:
Directions:
Blend flour, seasonings, sautéed onions and 2 tablespoons water in a 3 qt soup kettle. Add undrained oysters and butter. Simmer over low heat 3 to 4 minutes until edges of oysters curl, stirring gently. Add hot milk, remove from heat and cover. Let stand 15 minutes, reheat briefly. Top serving with pats of butter.
