2/3 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
2 c. unsifted flour
1 t. baking soda
1 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. salt
Topping:
1/2 t cinnamon
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 t. nutmeg
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs; beat well . Add dry ingredients alternating with buttermilk. Beat until smooth after each addition. Pour into a greased
9 X 13 pan.
Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle over batter, cover with foil. Refrigerate overnight. Remove foil and bake at 350º for 40 to 50 minutes.
