2 cups sugar
2 tsp vanilla
4 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup chopped nuts
4 eggs
1/2 cup melted shortening
2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
Powdered sugar to roll cookies in

Directions:
Directions:
Melt chocolate and shortening; cool slightly. Beat eggs with vanilla; blend in chocolate and shortening. Sift dry ingredients together. Stir into chocolate mixture; add nuts. Chill several hours or overnight. Shape into balls. Roll in powdered sugar; place on greased cookie sheets about 2 inches apart. Bake at 350ºF for 10-15 minutes.
