One corned beef brisket, flat cut
3 - 4 large onions
Salt (optional)
Seasoned pepper
Garlic powder
Onion powder (optional)
Paprika

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325°.
Peel and slice onions; layer them on the bottom of a roasting pan.
Season onions with above spices.
Lay brisket on top of onions, fat side facing up.
Season brisket with above spices.
Cover roasting pan and put in preheated oven.
Roast for 2 1/2 - 3 hours until meat is tender when pierced with a fork.
Remove from oven and let cool for awhile before slicing.
Slice against the grain (if sliced with the grain, meat will shred).
If desired, place sliced brisket on top of onions and gravy and re-heat.
