1 c. semi sweet chips
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1/3 cup salad oil
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 chopped nuts (optional)
Powdered sugar (about 1/2 c)

Directions:
Directions:
Melt chocolate chips and combine sugar and oil. Add eggs one at a time, beat well. Add vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt and add to chocolate mixture. Stir in nuts and chill dough for 2 hours. Roll into balls and drop into powdered sugar to coat. Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes

Dan used to work for the Meyer's, an older couple on the lake and she was really into healthy cooking, which wasn't up Dan's alley. One day she did serve him these cookies which he liked enough to get her recipe. I have added a twist by putting a rolo in the middle before rolling up, gives it a bit of a surprise.
