Four large baking apples, peeled and sliced thin
3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup oil
4 eggs
1/2 cup orange juice
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together until smooth, excluding the sliced apples. Pour 1/2 of batter into a
greased angel food or bundt cake pan. Put sliced apples on top of batter; mix together 5 T. sugar and 2 tsp. cinnamon and sprinkle ½ of this on top of apples. Pour remaining batter in and sprinkle rest of sugar/cinnamon mixture on top.
Bake 1 hr. at 350 degrees.
