4 Pork Chops
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 cups of white rice (not minute)
3 cups water
1 can mushrooms
1/2 stick of butter

Sauce:
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1/8 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/8 teaspoon allspice
1/8 teaspoon parsley flake
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon minced onion
1/4 teaspoon dry ground mustard
1 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon A1 sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
3/4 cup BBQ sauce
1/2 cup strawberry jam or peach jam

Heat oven 350º. Combine sauce ingredients and set aside. Brown pork chops in oil. Salt and pepper and place in 9x13 pan, then pour oil over chops. Put can of mushrooms, with juices, over chops. Spread rice evenly throughout pan. Pour sauce over rice and chops. Add 3 cups of water. Cut butter into pieces and scatter in pan. Cover and bake 1 1/2 hours. Check after an hour or so to see if water needs to be added.
