1 tbsp. granulated gelatin
1/2 c. cold water
1 c. boiling water
3/4 c sugar
1/4 c. lemon juice
grated rind of 1 lemon
2 egg whites

Directions:
Directions:
Soak gelatin in cold water 5 minutes and dissolve. In boiling water add sugar, lemon juice and lemon rind. Strain and set aside to cool. Stir mixture occasionally and when quite thick beat with an egg beater until frothy. Add egg whites which have been beaten until stiff and continue beating until stiff enough to hold its shape. Pile by spoonfuls in a glass dish and chill. Serve with soft custard sauce.
