1/3 cup M&M's plain chocolate candies
2/3 cup chocolate chips
11/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cups packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Grease and lightly flour or spray a 13-inch baking stone.

In mixing bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt; mix well.
In another mixing bowl beat butter and sugars until creamy. Add egg and vanilla;beat well. Add flour mixture; mix well. Stir in chocolate chips.
Place dough in the center of baking stone and press dough out leaving about 1 inch from the edge.
Decorate with the 1/3 cup of M&M's, press into the dough lightly so they sit on top of the cookie.
Bake for 16 - 18 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool completely. Cut into wedges to serve.

This cookie can be removed for the stone, but be very careful. Make sure cookie is completely cool before you try.
You can decorate the cookie with frosting and a cake decorator.
Use colored M&M's available in special holidays colors.
