3 cans (16oz) sliced peaches
1 box white or yellow cake mix
1 cube butter, (melted)
1/2 C. chopped pecans (optional)
1/2 tsp. almond extract (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Drain the juice off of one can of peaches. Put peaches & the juice of the other two cans in a greased 9 x 13 pan or dutch oven. Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over top of peaches, pour melted butter over cake mix. Sprinkle with nuts & extract if desired. Bake @ 350º 40 min. or until light brown. Good with whipped topping or cool whip. Serve warm.

We left these instructions with a guide one trip. He was to make this for the groups return trip. He didn't think it looked right and mixed it all together - the result, a moist, tasty peach cake. We were delighted!
