4 C. sugar
4 C. vinegar
1/3 C. salt
1 1/3tsp. tumeric
1 1/3 tsp.mustard seed
1 1/3 tsp. celery seed
3 med. onion
cucumbers
3 large peanut butter jars

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, vinegar, salt, tumeric, mustard seed , celery seed. ( do not heat)
Sterilize jars. Slice 1 onion into each jar. Wash & slice enough cucumbers to fill jars. Stir syrup well & pour into jars over cukes. Keep in refrigerator 5 days before using. Will keep up to 9 months if kept in refrigerator. No cooking, no canning, just mix, slice and eat! Very good pickles too!
