3 to 4 lb brisket
2 med onions sliced
1/3 c honey
1/2 c water
1/2 c chili sauce
1/4 t garlic powder
pinch salt
black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Place brisket in a 3 quart covered roasting pan (or cover pan with foil). Cover brisket with sliced onions. Mix honey, water, chili sauce and garlic powder together. Pour mixture over meat & bake 3 to 3 1/2 hours til meat is easily pierced with a fork. Strain juice from meat and separate into a container. Refigerate both sauce and meat over nigt in separate containers. Next day, slice meat against the grain. Remove fat from sauce. Place meat covered with sauce into a roasting pan and heat thoroughly.
