6 - 8 carrots, sliced
2 green onions, with tops
1/2 tsp. salt
Sauce
1/2 C. margarine
4 T. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. Worchestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 2/3 C. milk
1/4 lb. American cheese, grated
2-3 C. bread cubes

Directions:
Directions:
Cook carrots, 1/2 tsp salt, until tender, not mushy.
Combine & cook like a white sauce, margarine, flour, 1/4 tsp salt, garlic salt, worchestershire sauce, dry mustard and milk. When thickened and bubbly, stir in grated cheese and green onions.
Pour over cooked & drained carrots in casserole dish. Melt 1/2 C butter & pour over bread cubes, spread over top of casserole. Bake @ 350º about 45 min. or until bubbly.
