4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups shortening
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. vinegar
1/2 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Blend together flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Cut in shortening. Set aside. Mix together egg, vinegar and water. Sprinkle over flour mixture 1 tablespoon at a time until mixed. Knead dough about 5 times. Turn onto lightly floured surface and roll thin for 9" pie pan. For baked pie crust bake in 450º oven 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 2 double crusts.
