1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1/3 cup onions, chopped
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ginger
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 cup milk
2/3 cup cracker crumbs
1 tbsp. oil

SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE

2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 - 13 1/2 oz. can pineapple tidbits,
drained (reserve juice)
1/3 cup vinegar
1 tsp. soy sauce
1 green pepper, thinly sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together thoroughly, ground beef, onion, salt, ginger, egg, milk and cracker crumbs. Shape into balls. Brown in hot oil. Set aside.
Combine cornstarch, brown sugar, pineapple juice and vinegar. Bring to boil and thicken. Add soy sauce, pineapple tidbits and green pepper.
Pour sauce over meatballs and bake in casserole at 325º for 30 minutes.
